Braunton Farmhouse is a lovely, large self-catering property ideal for either families or groups of friends. The large holiday cottage on the outskirts of Braunton in North Devon has plenty of space both inside and out and accommodates up to 10.
On the ground floor of the property there is a spacious lounge, a separate snug, a formal dining room and a well-equipped kitchen with a breakfast table which provide ample space for large groups wishing to enjoy a short break, a family holiday or a special occasion.
There are also five good-sized bedrooms, three of which are twins, a double bedroom and a master bedroom with king-sized bed. There are two bathrooms on the ground floor and a family bathroom on the first floor.
For those holidaying with babies and toddlers, there are two travel cots provided (please remember to bring your own cot bedding), a high chair and stair gates for both staircases. There is also a selection of children’s dinnerware, board games, DVDs and books.
Outside the farmhouse has a big garden, perfect for outdoor games. A croquet set has been provided and there are also football posts. A large terrace features stunning countryside views and a large table with benches and chairs, perfect for enjoying al-fresco meals, a BBQ or simply relaxing with a drink.
For large groups staying with more than one car there is ample off-road car parking.
And finally, if anyone is looking to use the farmhouse for a wedding, Braunton Farmhouse in the past has made a great venue thanks to its wealth of outdoor space, quiet location and wonderful countryside views. Erect a marquee within the grounds and take advantage of this beautiful setting, creating some life-long memories with friends and family. You can even combine your wedding with a group honeymoon, as up to 10 guests can stay at the farmhouse.
